: something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past
Legado is “legacy” in Portugese, and Jason’s Portugese heritage is something he holds very near to his heart. While photos are a beautiful way to capture and preserve a moment or a person, we realized that we could do more. It’s often been said that after someone is gone, their loved ones eventually can’t “hear” their voice anymore. We’re on a mission to change that. Our own stories, and those of our partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and friends deserve a place in history, and we capture those stories. . .and the voices telling them.
“I don’t even know where to start. Having my parents’ stories and voices available at the click of a button is the greatest gift I’ve ever received. The first time I heard it, it brought tears to my eyes and it’s so comforting to know that I will never forget what they sound like, even long after they’re gone.” ~Leigh

“This was the most magical experience. Shortly after his session, my grandfather passed away. But having this recording of his voice telling me so many things I never knew has brought me so much joy and peace. It was one of the best investments of my life.” ~Marie
